| The relatively small size of A.C. Lazzaretto & Associates enables us to be highly responsive to projects which are one-time or
which are too small in scope to be of importance to larger firms. These include items such as grants administration, the oversight of the bond process, and environmental management tasks
which are important to communities, but do not justify the hiring of a permanent position. A.C. Lazzaretto & Associates has assisted with environmental remediation issues and environmental impact reports, with the application and management of used oil grants, and with the creation of annual reports under AB939 for the Cities of Brea, Whittier, La Mirada, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, Bellflower, and the Cities for Used Oil Joint Powers Authority. We have also assisted the City of Whittier with a Landfill Feasibility assessment to identify future funding and revenue options, making recommendations on how to maximize available space and community needs. We have spoken at many seminars and conferences in order to provide our unique insight into the industry. Andrew Lazzaretto has also been interviewed and quoted in many regional newspapers and industry journals and publications. We generally provide these services on a complimentary basis. In many instances, we have utilized our general municipal management experiences to assist with the assessment of public finances. These have included budget recommendations, project assessments, and financial projections. Clients for these type of projects have included the Cities of Alhambra, Buena Park, Burbank, Calimesa, La Mirada, and Rosemead. A.C. Lazzaretto & Associates has also assisted private and quasi-private clients with their many needs in dealing with public agencies and local communities. Most significantly was our experience with Southern California Edison in revising their Electric and Magnetic Fields Design Guidelines. Other clients have included California Contract Cities Association, CalMat Industries, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, and St. Francis Xavier Church. In short, if you have a project for which your staff does not have the expertise, time, or energy, give us a call. We have probably assisted others with the same thing, or something similar. We are here to be of service and are willing to tackle just about anything. |
